The Seventh Circuit splits assignments across a circuit-wide order, a county-wide order, and per-county case-assignment orders. Knowing which one governs saves you noticing a hearing to the wrong judge.
Applies circuit-wide in the Seventh Judicial Circuit: Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia Counties.
Circuit divisions 01-59 are assigned by AO G-2026-025-SC(A), entered January 7, 2026 and effective January 20, 2026, which remains effective until further order. County court divisions are assigned by AO G-2026-028-SC(B), entered July 1, 2026 and effective July 13, 2026. Case assignment within each county then runs through its own order: Volusia circuit by G-2026-040-VL(A) and Volusia county court by G-2026-026-VL(A) (eff. July 13, 2026); Putnam circuit by G-2026-043-PT; St. Johns circuit by G-2026-044-SJ (eff. January 20, 2026); and Flagler circuit by G-2025-042-FG (eff. September 29, 2025), which controls until superseded. Cross-assignment authority for July 1 through December 31, 2026 is set by G-2026-029-SC(A). Where a county-specific order and the circuitwide county order conflict, the circuitwide 2026 order controls. WATCH THE PROFILE URLS. Two sitting judges are served from legacy vacancy URLs: Judge George A. Young's Division 62 profile is at /judges/division-62-vacant/ and Judge K. Mark Johnson's is at /judges/division-63-division-25-vacant/. Both pages are titled with the judge's name and are current; only the slug is stale. A roster built by filtering "vacant" URLs will silently drop them.
Assigns the circuit-level judges and acting-circuit county judges to listed divisions; remains effective until further order.
The 17th Circuit's circuit-wide AI disclosure/certification mandate (Jan 2026, twice amended) was VACATED in its entirety effective June 15, 2026 by Chief Judge Phillips's AO 2026-19-Gen, expressly citing the statewide framework (AOSC26-12; Rule 2.515(d)(2), SC2026-0673). Several division procedure pages still cite the vacated order.
