Tell us what's wrong. We fix it in the open.

BenchPath publishes procedural facts about real courts and real judges, so being correctable is part of the product, not an afterthought. Every entry carries its source and last-verified date; when something is wrong, we re-verify against the official source and record the change rather than quietly editing it.

How a correction is handled

  1. 1. Triage. Reports are categorized (below). Safety and confidential-information reports are prioritized.
  2. 2. Re-verify. We re-fetch the official source and compare against the archived version.
  3. 3. Correct & record. The entry is updated, a change is logged, and history is preserved — we do not silently overwrite.
  4. 4. Notify. Followers of the affected rule are alerted to the correction.

Personal safety / judicial PII

Any residential address, personal phone, family or protected detail. Suppressed immediately on a credible report, then reviewed.

Wrong identity or assignment

A judge, division, or county attributed incorrectly. Corrected against the controlling assignment order.

Deadline / rule accuracy

A requirement, deadline, or citation that reads wrong. Re-verified against the official source.

Sourcing / methodology

A confidence level, coverage claim, or synthesis you want to challenge. Re-reviewed with reasons recorded.

Expedited lane for courts

If you are a judge, judicial assistant, clerk, or court staff member and an entry about your court or division is inaccurate — or exposes personal information that should not be public — say so in the report below and identify your role. These are moved to the front of the queue, and personal-safety items are suppressed on receipt pending review. BenchPath publishes only official professional contact information; it does not publish residential or family details.
