Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 1976-01 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-26; whitespace normalised only. • On January.S, 1976, the Clerk of the County Court in and for Duval County, Florida, shall assign a specific trial clerk permanently to each division of the County Court in and for Duval • County, Florida, for the purpose of discharging the clerk's duties relative to the court's business that comes before that division. 20 On January 5, 1976, the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Duval County, Florida, shall assign a specific trial clerk permanently to each division of the Circuit Court in and for Duval • Should the Clerk of the court or the Judge deem it advisable for the clerk to make a change in the assignment of a trial clerk, the request for such a change shall be made to the • Administrative Judge of the court or divisions concerned who, after conference or consultation with those involved, shall evaluate the impact of such change on the administration of justice and approve or disapprove suCh request as he may be adv;sed. • Should suCh permanently assigned trial clerk be temporarily absent or temporarily unable to perform the duties of trial clerk, the Clerk of the Court or his designee shall , ~ediately advise the judge of the division involved as to the name of the temporary replacement for the permanently assigned trial clerk. • The Clerk of the Court shall furnish to the Chief Judge and the Administrative Judgesof the County Cour~ and the divisions of the Circuit court hearing felony cases a list of the names of the trial clerks and the divisions to which they are assigne'd.
