This article shall become inoperative after December 31, 2027, except that the department shall be authorized to conduct all necessary closeout activities after this date and to continue implementing this article for any rate period before December 31, 2027, and as of January 1, 2029, this article is repealed, unless a later enacted statute, that becomes operative on or before January 1, 2029, deletes or extends the dates on which it becomes inoperative and is repealed.

Amended by Stats. 2026, Ch. 61, Sec. 2. (SB 165) Effective July 6, 2026. Repealed as of January 1, 2029, by its own provisions. Note: Termination clause affects Article 7.6, commencing with Section 1324.20 (except Section 1324.29).
