R. Regulating Fla. Bar 3-4.5 · 3-4. STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
REMOVAL FROM JUDICIAL OFFICE BY THE SUPREME COURT OF FLORIDA
Text — October 1, 2026 edition
Whenever a judge is removed from office by the Supreme Court of Florida on the basis of a Judicial Qualifications Commission proceeding, the removal order, when the record in such proceedings discloses the appropriate basis, may also order the suspension of the judge as an attorney pending further proceedings hereunder. When the Judicial Qualifications Commission files a recommendation that a judge be removed from office, The Florida Bar may seek leave to intervene in the proceedings before the Supreme Court of Florida. If intervention is granted, The Florida Bar may seek disciplinary action in the event the judge is removed by the court.
