Text — October 1, 2026 edition
A lawyer who is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar and who meets the standards prescribed below may be issued a certificate, identifying the lawyer as “Board Certified in Business Litigation.” The purpose of the standards is to identify those lawyers who practice in the area of business litigation and have the special knowledge, skills, and proficiency, as well as the character, ethics, and reputation for professionalism, to be properly identified to the public as board certified business litigation lawyers. Added July 20, 1995 (658 So.2d 930). Amended July 17-18, 1996, by the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar; September 18-20, 1997, by the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar; amendment approved by Board of Governors on August 22, 2003; amendments approved by Boar d of Governors on January 31, 2014.
