Instructions for court sponsored mediation at the San Bernardino Justice Center: mediations on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Department S34 on the 10th floor, in person only, with all parties and counsel present (a failure to appear is recorded as a non-appearance); a mediator from Inland Fair Housing and Mediation Board (IFHMB); optional mediation briefs of no more than 10 pages, double-spaced, emailed at least five (5) days before; and continuances and settlements reported to the judicial assistant of the assigned department.

CIVIL COURT SPONSORED MEDIATION INSTRUCTION FORM PERSONAL APPEARANCE DEPARTMENT S34 The Department in which your case is assigned has scheduled your matter for Court Sponsored Mediation. Mediations are held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the San Bernardino Justice Center courthouse located at 247 West Third Street, San Bernardino, CA 92415. Courthouse mediations are IN PERSON; virtual or phone appearances are not permitted. All Parties and Counsel must be present. Failure to appear for the mediation as scheduled is recorded as a NON-APPEARANCE. Your mediation will be held at the San Bernardino Justice Center in Department S34 on the 10th floor at the time and date set forth below. A mediator from Inland Fair Housing and Mediation Board (IFHMB) will be facilitating the mediation. MEDIATION BRIEFS Mediation briefs are not required. However, if you choose to submit one, it must not exceed 10 pages, including all photos and exhibits. Briefs must be double-spaced and submitted via email to amartin@ifhmb.com at least five (5) days before the mediation. CONTINUANCES / SETTLEMENTS Contact the judicial assistant in your assigned Department before the time and date stated below for mediation continuance, or if a settlement is reached before your mediation date.
