(a) Represented Parties. Any party for whom a general appearance of counsel has been made shall not thereafter take any step or be heard in the case in proper person, that is on his or her own behalf, absent prior leave of Court. (b) Pro Se Parties. A party who has elected to proceed in proper person, that is to represent himself or herself without an attorney, shall not be permitted to obtain special or intermittent appearances of counsel except upon such conditions as the Court may specify.
