Only sentences containing mandatory language (shall, must, may not, no later than, within N) are reproduced — the full document is in custody and is the controlling text. • ARRAIGNMENT DATES FOR CIRCUIT COURT All Felony Arraignments shall be set for the next following Arraignment Day at least thirty (30) calendar days after each Felony arrest. • First Felonv Arraignment Dar'- No [nlbnnation Filcd For Felony cases where information has not been filed by the first scheduled Arraignment Day, the Clerk of the Court shall manually remove that case from the trial cycle and set it for the next following Arraignment Day at least sixty (60) calendar days after the date of Felony arest. • For Felony cases in which information has been filed by the second scheduled Anaignment Day, then the Division to which that case is assigned shall direct the Clerk ofthe Court to set the case for trial. • Second Felony Arraignment Day No Infbrmation Filed For Felony cases in which information has not been filed by the second scheduled Arraignment Day, at least sixty (60) calendar days after the date of Felony arrest, the Division to which that case is assigned, shall handle all future scheduling, including but not limited to setting that case for trial. • Circuit Court Judges in Okaloosa Counry, Florida, will be assigned to preside in the following divisions: -- 1 of 2 -- Wednesday Felony Pretrial Conferences FEI-ONY PRETRIAL CONFERENCE All Felony Pretrial Conferences shall be conducted pursuant to a defendant's incarceration and/or represenlation status and shall be held only Monday or Wednesday, during the weeks in which Felony Pretrial Conferences are scheduled. • All cases scheduled for Felony Pretrial Conference, regardless of defendant's incarceration and/or representation status, shall be set for Monday at 9:00 a.m. • The Clerk ofthe Court shall issue the appropriate Notice docketing all cases for Felony Pretrial Conference on Monday at 9:00 a.m. • Felony Pretrial Conlerences shall be conducted per the follou ing guidelines: a. • (CT) will be reserved for cases in which the defendant is self-represented, private counsel has been retained, the Public Defender, Regional Conflict Counsel, or Conflict Registry Counsel has been appointed, and in which the defendant is currently in custod The Judicial Officer of the Division to which a case is assigned shall be responsible for administratively setting each matter for Felony Pretrial Conference pursuant to a defendant's status, as outlined above and shall provide notification to the Office of the Public Defender, Office of the State Aftomey, Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel.
