Verbatim from De La Rosa, Lissette's page, harvested 2026-08-02; whitespace normalised only. • ALL ATTORNEYS AND SELF REPRESENTED LITIGANTS MUST SIGN UP FOR AN ACCOUNT AT FLORIDA COURTS E-FILING PORTAL AT: https://www.myflcourtaccess.com/ for filing of pleadings or motions with the clerk of Court. and Sign up for COURTMAP at https://www.jud11.flcourts.org/Programs-and-Services/Online-Services/ for submitting emergency motions and proposed orders to your assigned Judge The judges will be using the ZOOM platform for some hearings. • Please arrive in the Virtual Courtroom at least 10 minutes before your scheduled hearing time. • The setting party must provide Notice of Hearing with instructions on how to appear using Zoom to the opposing party when scheduling a hearing and must file the notice with the Clerk. • Opposing parties must be copied in all email correspondence to the judicial assistant. • This email is available for scheduling purposes mostly, please do not email with facts about the case or documents that should be filed with the clerk of courts. • Hearing cancellations must be received via e-mail 24 hours prior to the hearing. • Please DO NOT submit Emergency Motions, Notices of Cancellation, etc., through the Agreed Order option. • Emergency Motions must be uploaded via CourtMAP and MUST contain a Certification that the matter is a true Emergency, and cannot wait to be heard during a regular motion calendar. • The certification/motion must include the details of the Emergency. 2. • The Emergency Motion MUST contain a statement indicating that opposing counsel has been notified, and an attempt to resolve the matter amicably has been made in good faith. 3. • Should the Court deem the motion a true emergency, you must be prepared to appear before the Court immediately after submission of the Emergency Motion to the Court. • MUST BE CANCELLED ON CourtMap and a copy Uploaded to CourtMap prior to the hearing. • If approved, the Notice of Cancellation must state a valid reason. • PRO-SE LITIGANTS MUST FILE ANY MOTIONS THROUGH CLERK OF COURTS. • Mandatory meet and confer requirement in the rules of civil procedure that must be followed prior to the setting of a motion. • ALL PARTIES MUST ADHERE TO RULE 1.202 CONFERRAL PRIOR TO FILING MOTIONS: • The Court mandates that all parties must meet and confer before scheduling any motions or hearings. • In order for your matter to be added to the Judge's Motion Calendar, the notice of hearing and motions(s) MUST be filed with the Clerk. • Written Notice to Opposing/Parties prior to hearing shall be provided immediately after hearing is set by a party, along with a copy of the motion. • Thereafter, you will receive a CMC date issued by The Judge and parties must appear accordingly. • Once that is done the Court will then set a CMC and all parties MUST appear . • Mediation requests must be emailed to the Bailiff Jermaine Jones via e-mail to: jjones@jud11.flcourts.org with contact information for both parties. • Do not contact the Mediation Division as they can't set without a request from the Bailiff: • Setting party must file Notice of Cancellation and e-mail to The Judicia Assistant Adriana Pracitto via e-mail: apracitto@jud11.flcourts.org and the Bailiff: • 24 hours prior to the hearing and Notices of Cancellation must be filed. • DO NOT SET ON A 5 MINUTE MOTION CALENDAR PRO-SE/SELF REPRESENTED LITIGANTS: • (CALENDAR CALL IS VIA ZOOM # 538-943-2676 A copy of the filed JURY TRIAL READINESS CERTIFICATION must be submitted (under supporting documents) and emailed to the Judicial Assistant at apracitto@jud11.flcourts.org and the Bailiff jjones@jud11.flcourts.org Upon execution, the parties will receive a copy of the Court's trial order. • If parties file Notice for Trial – a copy must be provided to the JA or the Bailiff. • Counsel shall immediately notify the Court's staff in the event of settlement by emailing a copy of the filed Notice of Settlement or Mediator's Report at apracitto@jud11.flcourts.org and jjones@jud11.flcourts.org MUST upload a copy to CourtMap as well as the Stipulation and Order of Dismissal for execution both must be uploaded on to CourtMAP • Please DO NOT submit Emergency Motions, Notices of Cancellation, etc., through the Proposed Order option. • The moving party MUST coordinate the date/time with opposing counsel based on the Court's availability (found on CourtMap). • The moving party shall submit a copy of the filed motion via CourtMap when selecting the proposed hearing date. • DO NOT SET A HEARING ON COURTMAP WITHOUT COORDINATION WITH THE OPPOSING PARTY. • ANY NOTICES SENT TO PRO-SE LITIGANTS OR ANY PARTY WITHOUT A LISTED EMAIL ADDRESS, SHALL BE MAILED VIA U.S. • MAIL, AND IT SHALL INCLUDE ALL ZOOM INFORMATION FOR THE HEARING.The moving party SHALL indicate on the Notice of Hearing that the Notice was physically mailed to the party, with an appropriate time for delivery. • Submissions exceeding 50 pages TOTAL must be hand-delivered to chambers at least 3 BUSINESS DAYS prior to the hearing date. • Please DO NOT use two (2) 30 minute slots for the same case, otherwise your hearing request on courtMAP will be rejected ATTORNEY'S FEE HEARINGS Once you e-file your Motion for Attorney’s Fees, a courtesy copy shall be submitted to the Judicial Assistant via email at apracitto@jud11.flcourts.org, and Bailiff via e-mail JJones@jud11.flcourts.org and upon receipt of the motion, the Court will issue a Preliminary Order on Motion to Tax Costs and Award Attorney’s Fees . • Once the parties have complied with said Order, they must coordinate with opposing counsel and schedule accordingly on courtMAP to schedule a SPECIAL SET Fee Hearing. • Motions for Rehearing / Reconsideration must be approved by the Court before they can be set for hearing. • ALL motions for Rehearing / Reconsideration must be specially set and will not be addressed at a UMC 5-minite motion calendar. *When unable to find the amount time required for the said special set motion.
