Verbatim from the operative section of https://www.jud12.flcourts.org/Portals/0/AdminOrders/Section03/15-23-3.pdf, harvested 2026-08-02; whitespace normalised only. • Upon the filing of a petition for extraordinary writ by a criminal defendant-including but not limited to petitions for writ of habeas corpus, petitions for writ of mandamus, petitions for writ of quo warranto, petitions for writ of prohibition, and petitions for writ of error coram nobis where the defendant has clearly listed his underlying felony case number(s) in the case heading, the Clerk of Court shall file such petition for extraordinary writ in the criminal defendant's underlying felony case file(s), as delineated by the defendant and provided such felony case number(s) exists within the respective county Clerk of Court's records, and shall forward the petition to the assigned Felony Division Judge.
