Unlock free →Due to continuing issues with litigants navigating Zoom, effective January 6, 2026, all litigants testifying at a UMC hearing or any other evidentiary hearing held via Zoom must be present with their attorney at the same location via Zoom. Failure to comply will result in the hearing going forward without the litigant (who will be deemed as failing to appear) or the hearing may be terminated.

Telephone appearances in CV-D require counsel to arrange a single conference call joining all participants and to courtesy-copy the Notice of Hearing to the JA; the JA prepares the first trial order, but every amended trial order falls on plaintiff's counsel.
