Verbatim from the division's own instructions page, fetched live 2026-08-03 (sha256 472e29dbf5dafd8b…); whitespace normalised only. • Please do not call or email the Judicial Assistant about Zoom without reading these instructions. • Proper Attire is required Counsel's video must be activated Everyone shall label themselves with first and last name. • You do not need an account or to pay a fee to use this service. • Motions to be heard must be identified by Docket entry number on the Notice of Hearing. • Motions must be set for hearing within 15 days of the date they are filed, and the hearing must take place within 30 days of the date they are filed. • The moving party SHALL put the conferencing information in the Notice of Hearing. • All Memorandum of Law, briefs, responses, copies of Notices of Hearings/motions, etc. can be mailed or e-mailed to the Judicial Assistant at CAD-DivisionRB@pbcgov.org at least 3 business days in advance of the scheduled hearing date/trial date. • All other motions that are appropriate for UMC (i.e., non-evidentiary motions that can be handled in 10 minutes or less) must be set on uniform motion calendar for hearing. • Motion hearings must be cancelled by the moving party with a Notice of Cancellation filed with the Clerk and emailing the J.A. • COVERAGE ATTORNEYS Are limited to 10 cases and must provide a list of cases to the Judicial Assistant by email the day before the Pretrial Hearing, and to the Courtroom Clerk. • In any case in which the Court has awarded a Default or Default Final Judgment, the Plaintiff must provide the Court with a proposed judgment within 20 days . • Plaintiff must request a new summons through the Clerk of Court in the ordinary course. • Cases that are continued pending settlement at the Pretrial Conference shall file the Stipulation and Dismissal within 30 days, or notice the case for trial. • Waivers of Appearance MUST comply with Florida Small Claims Rule 7.090 (e). • Stipulations to waive the pre-trial must be filed with the Clerk and presented to the Court by uploading a proposed order with a courtesy copy of the stipulation attached at least three (3) business days prior to pre-trial. • The parties shall communicate and submit one set of agreed verdict forms and jury instructions in WORD (Times New Roman), emailed to CAD-DivisionRB@pbcgov.org . • If the Court finds the case shall remain open, but the parties fail to move the case to trial or summary judgment, it will be subject to dismissal. • For cases in which a default has been issued, if the Final Judgment has not been provided to the Court within 30 days, it is subject to dismissal without further notice. • They must be submitted electronically online via the Online Scheduling Portal (OLS). • If an order or judgment is entered electronically online, the Plaintiff shall mail the Defendant's copy. • The Claim of Exemption and Request for Hearing must be filed forthwith with the Clerk's office.
