Only sentences containing mandatory language (shall, must, may not, no later than, within N) are reproduced — the full document is in custody and is the controlling text. • ALL probation or diversion and drug court conditions/requirements MUST be completed. 7. • Points will NOT be lost while in a non-compliance stage, however, they will “freeze” and you will not be able to use them until you are back in compliance or good standing. • Rewards you have a chance to obtain with your points (subject to change based on availability) Negative drug test in court Pick from the basket 5 points Pick from the basket 10 points Mystery Box (chance to win candy, snacks, prizes, gift cards, curfew hour etc.) 15 Points $5 gift cards 20 points Buy Community Service Hours (20 points = 1 hour of CS) 25 points Small prize (Items available in courtroom) 30 points Curfew increase of 2 hours on day of your choice 35 Points $15 Gift Cards 40 points Medium prize (items available in courtroom) 50 points 8:00pm WEEKEND curfew 60 points $25 gift card or Large prize (available in courtroom) 65 points 8:00pm curfew 70 points 9:00pm WEEKEND curfew 80 points 9:00pm curfew *You MUST be in compliance to use your reward points* Participants can also win extra “Mystery Box” drawings for negative drug test in court, “caught being good” or doing something above and beyond, from the judge as kudos for accomplishments, progress, outstanding behavior, attitude, or other special circumstances. -- 7 of 17 -- 8 | P a g e Sanctions: • Every participant is required to appear in Court for their acceptance into JDTC, as well as, through Phase 1 (orientation phase). • If you fail to appear, a Take into Custody Order (TICO) will be issued for your arrest . -- 9 of 17 -- 10 | P a g e PROBATION / DIVERSION REPORTING You are required to report to your juvenile probation officer (JPO) or diversion case manager (CM) as directed and outlined in your intake. • It is your responsibility to make sure that you contact them within 14 days to set up your intake appointment. • Intake appointments must be made within 14 days of acceptance and completed within 30 days of acceptance. • The JDTC shall encourage collaboration and family engagement to ensure that participant is fully surrounded by support. • Those with hearing deficiency shall be provided with a sign language interpreter as needed. -- 11 of 17 -- 12 | P a g e PROGRAM RULES Appropriate Dress: • Clothing displaying drugs/alcohol/tobacco, gang symbols, colors, or offensive or obscene pictures or language is prohibited. • Abusive behavior in the form of insulting language, physical gestures, aggression or other behavior will not be tolerated and will be sanctioned. • Smoking is prohibited at all times for all juvenile drug court participants. • You must attend school daily (when in session) without any unexcused absences or tardies. • You must attend and participate in your weekly group sessions, as well as, any individual or family sessions as indicated in your treatment plan. • You may not consume any alcohol or illegal drugs; prescriptions not written for you; or any other substance in a mood-altering manner while participating in JDTC. • Copies of all prescriptions that you have been prescribed must be given to your JPO or CM. • Secure detention and possible removal from the program. *If you have a medical condition that causes your urine to be diluted you are required to produce medical documentation from your doctor and provide it to your treatment counselor, JPO, CM or the Court. • Continued refusal or avoidance will cause you to be terminated from the program. -- 13 of 17 -- 14 | P a g e TAKING MEDICATIONS _________________________ You may NOT consume any alcohol or illegal drugs; prescriptions not written for you; or any other substance in a mood-altering manner while participating in JDTC. • You must show proof of all prescriptions from the doctor to your JPO or CM. -- 14 of 17 -- 15 | P a g e HOME DETENTION RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. • C) If there is an emergency where I must immediately inform my JPO or CM. 3. • It is my responsibility to call my JPO or CM if I must stay home from school. 4. • I further agree to report any law violations or violations of this agreement to my JPO or CM within 24 hours. 12.
