HEARING TIME & ARGUMENT LIMITS • IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE NINETEENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT IN AND FOR INDIAN RIVER, MARTIN, OKEECHOBEE, AND ST. LUCIE COUNTIES, STATE OF FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 2025-02 IN RE: LOCAL BOND SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature has enacted section 903.011 (5)(a), Florida Statutes, requiring the Florida Supreme Court to adopt an annual uniform statewide bond schedule that applies when the police or county jail or pretrial release employees exercise discretion to release a person on bond before the person's first appearance hearing; and WHEREAS, the Florida Supreme Court has issued AOSC24-126 (In Re: Uniform Statewide Bond Schedule) in furtherance of the legislative directive; NOW THEREFORE, by the authority vested in me as the Chief Judge of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit and pursuant to the Florida Rules of General Practice and Judicial Administration, it is hereby: ORDERED, that all police or county jail or pretrial release employees of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit exercising discretion to release a person on bond before the person's first appearance hearing shall follow the Uniform Statewide Bond Schedule set forth in AOSC24-126, a copy of such order being attached hereto as Exhibit A. Such schedule shall be effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. It is further, ORDERED, that notwithstanding such schedule, all non-United States citizens charged with any felony offense shall be held without bond until first appearance.
