LUCIE COUNTIES, STATE OF FLORIDA IN RE: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 2025-04 Calendar Year 2026 Court Holidays In accordance with the authority vested in the Chief Judge pursuant to Rule 2.215, Florida Rules of General Practice and Judicial Administration, it is hereby ORDERED: The following holidays will be observed by the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court for the calendar year 2026: • New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1, 2026 • Martin Luther King Day – Monday, January 19, 2026 • Memorial Day – Monday, May 25, 2026 • Independence Day – Friday, July 3, 2026 • Labor Day – Monday, September 7, 2026 • Veterans’ Day – Wednesday, November 11, 2026 • Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 26, 2026 • Friday after Thanksgiving – Friday, November 27, 2026 • Christmas Day – Friday, December 25, 2026 Se ctions 4.07(1)(D) and (E) of the State Courts System Personnel Regulations provide authority to designate Good Friday, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur as legal holidays, as well as two additional discretionary holidays. As such, the following legal and discretionary holidays will be observed by the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court for the calendar year 2026: • Good Friday – Friday, April 3, 2026 • Yom Kippur – Monday, September 21, 2026 • Christmas Eve – Thursday, December 24, 2026 • New Year’s Eve – Thursday, December 31, 2026 Thi s holiday schedule is consistent with the holiday schedule established by the Supreme Court of Florida for calendar year 2026.
