HEARING TIME & ARGUMENT LIMITS • WHEREAS section 744.3145, Florida Statutes, requires that each person appointed by the court to be guardian, other than a parent who is the guardian of the property of a minor child, must receive a m inimum of eight hours of instruction and training in the following areas: • Each person appointed by the court to be the guardian of the property of his or her minor child must receive a minimum of four hours of instruction and training that covers: • Guardianship Training and Support Services 8-hour on-line guardianship training for guardians of adults 4-hour on-line guardianship training for guardians of minors PROPOSED ORDERS • This Administrative Order shall not be construed so as to prohibit other qualified individuals or organizations from applying for and receiving approval in the Nineteent h Judicial Circuit to offer and teach similar guardianship courses, provided the instruction and training satisfies the requirements for approval under section 744.314 5, Florida Statutes.
