HEARING TIME & ARGUMENT LIMITS • Updated 2024-09-25 Magistrate Lewis’s Zoom Hearing Instructions If your court proceeding allows or re quires you to attend remotely by Zoom, you will appear through Zoom teleconferencing (without charge) via video by clicking https://zoom.us/j/5574784701 or phone by calling 1-646-558-8656; Meeting ID: 5574784701. You do not have to have a Zoom account to participate in a Zoom hearing, although downloading the app in advance may be helpful. If you are appearing via Zoom, you must have video capability to be placed under oath by the Court. Please Note: (1) If you are the moving party and fail to appear for your hearing at the designated time, your petition or motion may be dismissed for failure of the moving party to appear. • (2) If a motion for contempt and/or enforcement has been filed against you and you fail to appear, the court may issue a writ of bodily attachment and you may be incarcerated until such time as you may be able to appear before a judge, which may take up to 48 hours.
