HEARING TIME & ARGUMENT LIMITS • General Description The essential function of the position is to assist the Director of Case Management with the Court Program Specialist II’s within the Family Court Division. This position is responsible for training, aiding, and case processing through case management. Th e CPS III will assist Judges and Director of Case Management with the timely disposition of cases through case management/monitoring, records maintenance, and program implementation. The position is responsible for relaying pertinent information to litiga nts and trial court staff, reviewing filings, community-based service referrals, managing, and preparing cases for court hearings which includes preparing court orders and supporting documentation for trials/final hearings. Duties also include briefing ju dges, attending hearings and other trial court proceedings, maintaining record/filing system, maintaining department statistics and scheduling hearings, performing related administrative tasks, and updating policy and procedures manual. The CPS III works u nder the general supervision of the Director of Case Management developing work methods and sequences.
