Requirement

• This Administrative Order amends the Administrative Order dated January 11, 1977, concerning costs in civil traffic infractions, to read as follows: • Pursuant to the authority of Rule 6.470 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure for Traffic Courts, in all civil traffic offenses arising in the Fourth Judicial Circuit where no hearing is required or held and the offender admits the commission of the offense by paying the penalty or receiving a withheld adjudication pursuant to the provisions of Section 318.14(9) or (10), Florida Statutes, the following costs are to be deducted from, or in the case of Section 318.14(9) or (10) elections, added to, the penalty or costs by the traffic violations bureau: (1) Three dollars for all violations of predestrian regulations under Section 316.130 and violations of Chapter 316 by a bicyclist 14 years of age or under; (2) Six dollars for all non-moving traffic infractions; and (3) Ten dollars for all moving infractions.
