Requirement

• WHEREAS, all probate cases are currently assigned by the Clerk of Courts to Circuit Court Division PR-A; • WHEREAS, on January 1, 2018, Circuit Court Division PR-B will be established as an additional division in the Probate Division of Duval County; • WHEREAS, beginning on January 1, 2018, all newly filed probate cases shall be assigned in rotating order to Divisions PR-A and PR-B by the Clerk of Courts; • WHEREAS, Circuit Court Division PR-A will retain all cases that are assigned to Division PR-A on or before December 31, 2017; • NOW THEREFORE, by the authority vested in me as the Chief Judge of the Fourth Judicial Circuit and pursuant to the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration, it is hereby • ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that: • 1) Circuit Court Division PR-B shall be established on January 1, 2018. • 2) Beginning on January 1, 2018, all newly filed probate cases shall be assigned in rotating order to Divisions PR-A and PR-B by the Clerk of Courts. • 3) Division PR-A will retain all cases that are assigned to Division PR-A on or before December 31, 2017. • 4) This Administrative Order shall be recorded by the Clerk of Court, in the Official Records of Duval County, in the State of Florida, and shall take effect immediately and remain in full force and effect unless and until otherwise ordered by the Court.
