The party requesting the hearing MUST email the Judicial Assistant and copy opposing counsel. Please provide the case number in the subject line of the email and in the body of the email provide the Motion(s) to be set for hearing and how much time is being requested (NO HEARING WILL BE LESS THAN 20 MINUTES). The Judicial Assistant will respond to all with available hearing dates/times. The party requesting the hearing will be responsible for noticing the hearing to all parties, Three (3) weeks before the hearing date. If the case settles, please notify the Judicial Assistant ASAP so the hearing can be removed from the Judge's calendar. • CANCELLATION OF HEARING: When canceling a hearing that you have set, email the Judicial Assistant and copy opposing counsel to notifying the Judicial Assistant of the cancellation and why the case has been cancelled. • DO NOT assume the hearing is automatically removed from the Court calendar. A Notice of Cancellation that has been e-filed with the Clerk does not provide sufficient notice of a cancellation. • Cancellation of a hearing MUST be confirmed by the Judicial Assistant at minimum (3 days prior to the hearing date, NOT on the day of the hearing) with appropriate notice.
