The Court will review requests for remote appearance in these divisions on a case-by-case basis where there is a demonstrated need or exceptional circumstance that would warrant a remote appearance. Motions for remote appearance must be filed with the Clerk of Court at least 10 BUSINESS DAYS before the hearing (or as soon as possible if it is an emergency arising within the 10-day period). A copy of the motion along with a proposed order should be e-mailed to seayh@circuit8.org. County Civil and Small Claims Pretrial hearings are now conducted routinely by Zoom.
