Only motions to enter, to reconsider, to clarify, for new trial and to set aside an order return to the visiting judge who originally ruled; counsel finds the Visiting Judges calendar on the county website, sets the motion in Presiding Court under the Local Rules on a date the visiting judge is scheduled to assist Presiding (8:30 non-evidentiary or 9:00 evidentiary), includes the Presiding Court Zoom information and the visiting judge's name in the notice of setting, names the visiting judge in the announcement to the Presiding Judge, and confers on the time announcement; every visiting-judge hearing must be assigned by the Presiding Judge.

Motion to Set Aside Order 2. Go to Bexar County Website (https://www.bexar.org/3659/Visiting-Judges-Calendar) under Civil District Judges to locate the Visiting Judge calendar. 3. Set the motion in Presiding Court pursuant to the Bexar County Civil District Courts Local Rules (https://www.bexar.org/DocumentCenter/View/40194/Bexar-County-Civil-District-Court-Local-Rules-2024-1924?bidId=) on a date the Visiting Judge is scheduled to assist Presiding Court. 4. Include (a) the Presiding Court ZOOM ID information in the Notice of Setting, and (b) the name of the Visiting Judge that previously heard the matter. 5. Set the hearing per local rules, either at 8:30 a.m. (non-evidentiary) or 9:00 a.m. (evidentiary). 6. Your announcement to the Presiding Judge must include the name of the Visiting Judge that should hear the matter. 7. The above Motions are ordinarily fairly short matters, however please confer with opposing counsel on your time announcement. Judge Wolfe enforces AO S-2024-062(28)(A) with teeth: every pretrial motion in a case transferred to TD-3 must be scheduled and heard by the original transferring judge — failure to do so timely is deemed a waiver.
Judge Rice mirrors the F-division waiver with an exception: all motions other than motions in limine must be filed AND heard before the Pretrial Conference or they are waived; limine motions must at least be filed by then.
