ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER ON ATTORNEY AD LITEM FEES IN DECEDENT'S ESTATES AND GUARDIANSHIP CASES In an effort to achieve consistency with the other statutory probate courts of Texas in terms of a base line fee for attorney ad litems in probate and guardianship cases, the courts have agreed that there is a need for an administrative order increasing the base line fee for ad litems serving in these roles. IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED that effective on or after October 15, 2022, the minimum base line fee for a court appointed attorney ad litem in a probate or guardianship matter shall be $600.00.
