McDonald, Estate of Maupin); a non-lawyer may serve as executor, administrator or guardian only through counsel; a pro se may join the other heirs in a small estate affidavit, contest a will, guardianship or heirship on their own behalf, apply for safe-deposit-box entry or emergency intervention, or apply to probate a will as a muniment of title (contact the staff attorney).
