207th, 433rd and 466th District Court Zoom Hearing Orders and Procedures in Civil Cases, Comal County. The 207th, 433rd and 466th Judicial District Courts will continue to utilize Zoom for civil hearings on a limited basis; the procedures are in addition to the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, the Texas Rules of Evidence, the Comal County Local Rules and the Courts' instructions, and violations may result in the case being removed from the docket, evidence not being admitted, or contempt. Procedures: (1) Day and Hours — 466th District Court Zoom hearings for civil cases are held Mondays only (the Monday docket divided into settings beginning at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.), and the 207th and 433rd District Court Zoom hearings are held at the date and time prescribed by the court or on an agreed Notice of Hearing; (2) Length of hearing — the requested hearing shall be less than one hour total, and if the estimated time exceeds one hour the hearing is reset to an in-person docket; (3) prior to scheduling a Zoom hearing all counsel or pro se litigants shall confer with the opposing party to determine agreements or narrow the issues (absent a family-violence or safety concern) and to identify agreed dates and times; and (4) to schedule, all parties must contact the Court Administration Office, and once a date and time are identified a Motion to Set or Notice of Hearing is sent to the Court Coordinator (if no agreement, the Court Coordinator sets the date and time).
