PROBATE COURT OF GALVESTON COUNTY, TEXAS ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 2020-5 Administrative Order Prohibiting the Recording of Remote Court Proceedings In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, state and local Executive Orders, and the Emergency Orders of the Texas Supreme Court, the Probate Court has implemented procedures for remote hearings requiring the use of electronic programing such as Zoom and/or YouTube. The Court finds it essential that the only recording of any proceeding shall be that of the official Court Reporter. The Court finds that the recording of any court proceeding, whether in the courtroom or via remote access,· without permission shall be strictly prohibited. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that it is strictly prohibited for any individual other than the official Court Reporter to records in any manner a Probate Court proceeding, whether in the courtroom or via remote access, and whether by active participants or public viewers.
