The Court is open to the public however there is a capacity limit, family accompanying defendants on bond may be asked to wait in the hallway if we are over the limit. Defense Attorneys - our docket starts at 9:00am and the State is available to conference either before the next court setting or at 9am the day of court. All appearances are in-person unless there is a waived approval by Judge Beall. Plea papers have to be completed electronically via the kiosk no matter if the defendant is on bond or in custody. Bond clients must make a physical appearance in order to plea. For probation pleas, a TRAS can be completed as a condition of probation unless the court requires one done prior to plea. The Clerks are not allowed by their office to obtain the defendant's signature. Please refer to the hccla.org website for assistance with completing plea papers electronically for defendants on bond. You may also use the laptop located in the Courtroom.
