Administrative Order 2020-3, In the Probate Courts of Harris County, Texas — Administrative Order Prohibiting the Recording of Remote Court Proceedings. The Courts find it essential that the only recording of any proceeding shall be that of the official Court Reporter. The Courts find that the recording of any court proceeding, whether in the courtroom or via remote access, without permission shall be strictly prohibited. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that it is strictly prohibited for any individual other than the official Court Reporter to record in any manner a Probate Court proceeding, whether in the courtroom or via remote access, and whether by active participants or public viewers. Any violation of this Order may result in a finding of contempt of court. Signed this 24th day of March, 2020 [all four probate judges].
