Deputy Court Reporters will be paid not more than $600.00 per day. Overtime will be paid at the rate of $46.00 per hour after 5:00 p.m. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed unless the Deputy Court Reporter does not live in a contiguous county or prior approval has been obtained. 2. For Official and Deputy Court Reporters, when there is a court order in a criminal case on appeal where Defense counsel is court appointed, the court reporter should prepare an original of the transcript at the rate of $3.50 per page, plus one copy at the rate of $1.15 per page. The reporter shall not charge for a word index without an additional court order. 3. The original record shall be filed with the Court of Appeals and the copy shall be filed with the District Clerk. The District Attorney's Office as well as court-appointed Defense counsel would be encouraged to check out the copy from the District Clerk's file and no extra copy shall be prepared without prior court approval. 4.
