THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT: 1. The parties shall use the Texas Criminal Pattern Jury Charges, as published by the State Bar of Texas, as the starting point for drafting the proposed jury charge. 2. Counsel may propose modifications, additions, or deletions to the pattern charges, provided that such changes are supported by binding precedent or applicable statutory authority. 3. Proposed charges (including any deviation from pattern language) shall be submitted to the Court no later than the morning of the last day of trial unless otherwise ordered. 4. This Order shall apply to all criminal cases set for trial on or after the effective date of this Order. This Order shall remain in effect until amended or repealed by further order of these Courts.
