Steven McClure's County Court at Law No. 2 for the annual report a guardian of the person must file under Texas Estates Code § 1163.101: use the Court's form or supply every § 1163.101 item (an incomplete report will not be approved), report on the anniversary-to-anniversary period that begins on the qualification date with the report due within 60 days after each anniversary, include every appointed guardian and a current picture of the ward if possible, file with the County Clerk in person, by mail or by e-filing (never e-mail) with the $12 clerk's fee ($2 per letter of guardianship; waived on a filed affidavit of inability), and expect a show-cause hearing, abatement of authority or removal for late filing.
