Apply to all civil, criminal and family cases of the district courts’ exclusive jurisdiction or concurrent with the County Courts at Law. The District Clerk assigns cases equally by rotation unless directed otherwise; a Local Administrative District Judge is elected for a two-year term (Gov’t Code § 74.091); and case-management rules apply.
