ESCAPE; UNAUTHORIZED ABSENCE.
Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
An offense under Section 38.06 or 38.113, Penal Code, may be prosecuted in any county in which:
(1) the offense was committed; or
(2) the defendant committed the offense for which the defendant was placed in custody, detained, or required to submit to treatment.
