Tex. Code Crim. Proc. art. 55A.004 · Subchapter A. MANDATORY EXPUNCTION
PARDON FOR REASON OTHER THAN ACTUAL INNOCENCE.
Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
A person to whom this subchapter applies is entitled to have all records and files relating to the arrest expunged if the person is:
(1) tried for and convicted of the offense for which the person was arrested; and
(2) subsequently pardoned for that offense for a reason other than that described by Article 55A.003.
