STATUS OF DEDUCTION OR SALARY REDUCTION.

Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
(a) If so designated by the employing institution of higher education, a salary deduction made by an employee under this subchapter shall be considered compensation under this chapter and salary and wages and member compensation under Title 8.
(b) If authorized by federal law, a salary deduction or salary reduction under this subchapter may be made on a pretax basis.
