Tex. Health & Safety Code § 75.051 · Subchapter B. REGIONAL OR LOCAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAM
ESTABLISHMENT OF PROGRAM; MULTICOUNTY COOPERATION.
Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
(a) The commissioners court of a county may, by order, establish or participate in a local health care program under this subchapter.
(b) The commissioners courts of two or more counties may, by joint order, establish or participate in a regional health care program under this subchapter.
(c) A community-based nonprofit organization may establish or participate in a regional health care program under this subchapter without the participation of the commissioners court of a county if the program is a premium assistance program not offering health care services or health care benefits.
