Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
(a) A health benefit plan must define a condition to be a mental health condition or not a mental health condition in a manner consistent with generally recognized independent standards of medical practice.
(b) A health benefit plan must define a condition to be a substance use disorder or not a substance use disorder in a manner consistent with generally recognized independent standards of medical practice.
