Tex. Ins. Code § 1451.201 · Subchapter E. DENTAL CARE BENEFITS IN HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES OR EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS
DEFINITIONS.
Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
In this subchapter:
(1) "Dental care service" means a service provided to a person to prevent, alleviate, cure, or heal a human dental illness or injury.
(2) "Employee benefit plan" means a plan, fund, or program established or maintained by an employer or employee organization.
(3) "Health insurance policy" means any individual, group, blanket, or franchise insurance policy, insurance agreement, or group hospital service contract.
