PENALTIES.
Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
If a workers' compensation insurance policy is issued and the commissioner subsequently disapproves the rate or filing on which the premium is based, the commissioner, after notice and the opportunity for a hearing, may:
(1) impose sanctions under Chapter 82;
(2) issue a cease and desist order under Chapter 83;
(3) impose administrative penalties under Chapter 84; or
(4) take any combination of these actions.
