SOLICITING MEMBERSHIP IN UNAUTHORIZED FRATERNAL BENEFIT SOCIETY; CRIMINAL PENALTY.

Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
(a) A person commits an offense if the person solicits membership for or in any manner assists in procuring membership in a fraternal benefit society that is not authorized to transact business in this state.
(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $50 or more than $200.
