Tex. Nat. Res. Code § 51.171 · Subchapter E. SALE AND LEASE OF VACANCIES
PURPOSE; APPLICATION OF OTHER LAW.
Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
(a) This subchapter controls the purchase and lease of vacant land and the authority of the commissioner and the board to:
(1) determine whether a vacancy exists; and
(2) sell and lease vacant land.
(b) To the extent a provision of this subchapter conflicts with another law relating to vacant land or Chapter 2001, Government Code, this subchapter controls.
