Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
(a) A person commits an offense if the person professes to be a podiatrist or practices or assumes the duties incident to the practice of podiatry without holding a license to practice podiatry.
(b) An offense under this section is punishable by:
(1) a fine of not less than $50 or more than $500;
(2) confinement in the county jail for not less than 30 days or more than six months; or
(3) both the fine and confinement.
