Tex. Prop. Code § 62.125 · Subchapter G. BOND TO INDEMNIFY AGAINST LIEN
ACTION ON BOND.
Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
(a) A party making or holding a lien claim may not sue on the bond later than the last date on which a person may bring a suit to foreclose the lien under Section 62.062.
(b) The bond is not exhausted by one action against it. Each named obligee or assignee of an obligee may maintain a separate suit on the bond in any district court for the county in which the commercial real estate is located.
