CONSTRUCTION OR EQUIPMENT PURCHASE CONTRACTS.

A contract for construction or the purchase of equipment that involves the expenditure of more than $25,000 may be made only after advertising in the manner provided by Subchapter B, Chapter 271, Local Government Code.
