TAX AND BOND ELECTIONS.
Text — Current through the 89th 2nd Called Legislative Session, 2025
(a) The district shall hold an election in the manner provided by Chapters 49 and 54, Water Code, to obtain voter approval before the district imposes a sales and use tax or an ad valorem tax or issues bonds payable from ad valorem taxes.
(b) The board may include more than one purpose in a single proposition at an election.
(c) Subchapter L, Chapter 375, Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.
