Tex. Transp. Code § 394.029 · Subchapter B. LICENSE AND PERMIT FOR OFF-PREMISE SIGN
EXCEPTIONS FOR CERTAIN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.

(a) The combined license and permit fees under this subchapter may not exceed $10 for an off-premise sign erected and maintained by a nonprofit organization in a municipality or a municipality's extraterritorial jurisdiction if the sign relates to or promotes only the municipality or a political subdivision whose jurisdiction is wholly or partly concurrent with the municipality.
(b) The nonprofit organization is not required to file a bond as provided by Section 394.0202(a)(3).
