Tex. Water Code § 5.803 · Subchapter R. ACCREDITATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING LABORATORIES
APPLICATION; FEE.

(a) To be accredited under the accreditation program adopted under this subchapter, an environmental testing laboratory must submit an application to the commission on a form prescribed by the commission, accompanied by the accreditation fee. The application must contain the information that the commission requires.
(b) The commission by rule shall establish a schedule of reasonable accreditation fees designed to recover the costs of the accreditation program, including the costs associated with:
(1) application review;
(2) initial, routine, and follow-up inspections by the commission; and
(3) preparation of reports.
