Reviewer note: Composed 2026-09-29 (California T3 Los Angeles build 2026-09-29) from BenchPath custody ca/t3/ca-los-angeles/general-orders/LIBSVCCommunications-108-SilicosisCasesGeneralOrders.pdf (10550889 bytes, sha256 42fa54a8ee823d5f6d82f00f3eb90c68d65f511080c3f0767ec8f8fafaabd5fe; 132 pages) - General Orders No. 1 to 36 of the coordinated Silicosis Cases (JCCP No. 5378). The printed pages (1 to 19, 22 to 28, 64 to 96 and 100 to 132) are composed with the shared verbatim composer (v2 reflow), reading the glyphs drawn on the page, in four runs: each order's two-column caption set left cell, then right cell (the “)” column and the box's rule left out), the running footer eleven orders print (the order's title; on several, the number it had in draft) left out as a page mark, and General Order No. 2's sample caption set the same way; proof 1 (whitespace-only), proof 2 (same character multiset as the text layer minus chrome) and proof 3 (same characters as the glyphs drawn on the page) all pass for every run. General Orders No. 9 (pages 20 and 21) and No. 14 (pages 29 to 34) are page scans, transcribed by eye with a machine second reader (RapidOCR). Not transcribed, as bracketed notes say: Exhibits 14A to 14F (pages 35 to 63: the preliminary fact sheets, the standard authorizations and the standard discovery), pages 97 to 99 (two blank pleading pages and an unfilled proof of service), and each composed order's electronic signature (an image). Attached to Judge Elihu M. Berle: the orders are signed by him as the coordination judge of JCCP No. 5378; the court's Judicial Officer Search application lists Judge Elihu M. Berle at the Spring Street Courthouse, Department 6.
